Where is the time going?
It has been a privilege to work in St. Mark’s for the past couple of months. It was wonderful to celebrate Thanksgiving, Remembrance Sunday, Advent, and Christmas together. With 2023 off to a flying start, I realised that spring is around the corner, with the summer holidays soon to follow.
It is wonderful to see and connect with people on Sunday’s, and during other events. However, when I go through the roll and directory of St. Mark’s, there are so many names and faces I do not know. To address this, I have decided to invite the districts to join me for coffee/tea and cake on Thursday, March 9 and 16, between 10:00-11:00 am, and for those who would prefer to meet after work, the evening of March 16, between 6:30-7:30 pm. If you are unable to come and have the need to connect with me or want me to visit you, please send me an email so that we can arrange a date and time.
Of course, those who I met already are also welcome to attend. It would be nice to see you again. So do not feel excluded because we already know one another. It is always good spending time with you.
To help me to make the necessary preparations, please let me know if you are planning to attend one of these gatherings.
If you are receiving this message/email and you are no longer part of St. Mark’s, please let me know that we can update the directory.
Looking forward to seeing all of you
Maryka
